This hose has a female fitting at both ends. It's 270mm long, and these are sold individually. This hose is the same for both left and right sides on Beetle, Ghia, Split-bus, and Type-3. It only fits the right side on bay-window buses. It also fits Type-4s on all corners (front and rear). These hoses are for swing-axle Beetles, and that should supercede the listed applications. Also, these are only for manual transmission Beetle, Ghia, and Type-3.
After years of use, rubber brake hoses can collapse from the inside, which restricts fluid from leaving the wheel cylinders and causes the brakes to drag. Sometimes they can look fine from the outside, but still need to be replaced.
